HSDS User Needs ‘Design Sprints’
The NHSF is coordinating user needs research to support the development of the Heritage Science Data Service and the next step in the process is to hold two sets of 'design sprints' in February and March looking at audiences, user personas and user journeys.
To build up a good picture of the range of users who will interact with HSDS, we need input from people who work in different areas of conservation and heritage science, people from different types of institutions, and people who will use the services of HSDS in different ways.
If you are available, please sign up to attend one of each workshop here.
1) Audience mapping: Collaboratively define key audiences and create detailed user personas. We'll review user needs, behaviours, barriers, and motivations, to develop a better understanding of audiences.
◾ Tues 25th Feb / 12pm - 2pm
◾ Weds 26th Feb / 2pm - 4pm
2) User journeys: Following on from the audience mapping workshops, we'll imagine the different potential user journeys for the HSDS platform, thinking about key stages for audience segments. This will help us understand the potential user actions and attitudes, as well as challenges and opportunities across different stages.
◾ Thurs 6 March / 2pm - 4pm
◾ Mon 10 March / 12pm - 2pm
