NHSF Mentoring Scheme 2023 - Information Event

Find out more about our 2023 Student and Early Career Professional Mentoring Programme at an online information event on 17th May, 12.30-13.00.

In 2022 we ran a successful pilot mentoring scheme. The scheme is running again in 2023 and is open to applications from potential mentors and mentees.

This event is an opportunity to meet members of our Communities working group (which coordinates the scheme) and ask them any questions you might have.

Key points about the mentoring scheme:

  • It's a light-touch programme, established to offer support to emerging professionals in heritage science and conservation research in the UK.
  • Suggested time commitment is 3x one-hour sessions over a six-month period.
  • It is not a replacement for/enhancement of academic supervision but is an opportunity to explore issues such as career pathways or understanding the wider research landscape.
  • You don't have to be part of an NHSF member organisation to take part.
