PhD Studentship in Conservation
Funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, Cardiff University and English Heritage are offering a collaborative doctoral partnership studentship into the ‘Conservation of Late 19th and 20th Century Artillery Pieces’. The key research question will be What is the most effective management strategy for modern artillery in the English Heritage collection?
The research will involve a cross-disciplinary integrated approach and will combine three key areas: historical study, material science and conservation management. The studentship will start in January 2020. The application deadline is 14 October 2019.
