Sustaining the Impact of UK Science and Heritage Research – conference, 29-30 October 2013
Marking the culmination of an £8 million programme of investment by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), this two day conference captured five years of intense research activity within the context of the wider political, social and economic dimension.
A personal vision of the achievements of the programme – alongside the opportunities for the future of Heritage Science – were eloquently captured by Professor May Cassar, Director of the Science and Heritage Programme and NHSF Trustee in her closing address A Vision for UK Science and Heritage.
